Vodafone provides a range of services for the traditional home phone. With its powerful service network, the whole population can use the Vodafone service for Heimasimi. With Og1 you get the added benefit of Vodafone´s Heimasimi. Homes with Og1 call another home phone overseas (Rates Category 1) for free for 120 minutes per month. At the same time, calls to all other fixed lines within Iceland, in all networks, are free and unlimited. Homes with Og1 therefore pay only a monthly fee for Heimasimi, for using 118 and other special service numbers, use of GSM phones and calls overseas.

Netsimi is a Windows application that gives you access to a traditional phone service through the internet. It doesn´t matter where in the world the computer is linked to the internet, as long as there is a connection you can make and receive calls more economically.
