With Og1 you get the added benefit of Vodafone´s GSM service. An Og1 home can call a home phone (Rates Category 1) for free for 120 minutes per month from each registered GSM number. It´s possible to register all phone account numbers with Og1 and also all Frelsi numbers which are topped up at least 500 ISK per month with a credit card. At the same time, all GSM numbers can call an Og1 home phone for free (up to 60 minutes per day). When you travel overseas with your Vodafone number various costs apply according to which country you´re in, which phone company your phone is connected to overseas, and also depending on which type of subscription you´ve chosen (regular, Vodafone Passport or Vodafone World). A conventional travel pricelist applies for account holders with a GSM account, Einn simi and Vodafone Simply. A base fee and per-minute rate is determined by which phone company the phone is connected to at the time a phone call is made or received. Before setting off, it´s good to work out which phone company is the cheapest in each country.

The base fee is charged at the beginning of the call and then every 20 minutes.
