With a DSL connection from Vodafone or fiber optic from Gagnaveita Reykjavíkur you can get over 70 channels and video on demand right in your living room. We now offer this service in many places around the country, but delivery of the service can sometimes be hindered by distance from the DSL access point.

All around Iceland

TV via ADSL can now be offered on our DSL home-zone in the following areas: Reykjavík and vincinity, Akureyri, Selfossi, Hveragerði, Vestmannaeyjar and Akranes. In the Reykjavík-area and Akranes we can also offer this service via fiber optic to the home via Gagnaveita Reykjavíkur.

Which channels?

All of the channels available via our DVB-T service, Vodafone Digital Ísland, are available on Vodafone Digital +. With the basic lease you get access to 7 free-to-air channels and if you're a member of Vodafone Gull, our loyalty program, you can watch 5 foreign channels in addition. Subscription services are provided by 365 Media (Stöð 2).

The receiver/set-top-box and HD

With an ADSL connection you are limited to one set-top-box, but with a fiber-optic connection, which offers greater speed, you can have as many as 3 set-top-boxes and watch all the channels on all three. We also offer a set-top-box capable of receiving high definition channels via a fiber-optic connection.

The coolest graphical user interface around?

When designing the graphical user interface, we got the experts involved. Let's face it, looks matter. So far our customers have been thrilled with the functionality we offer, when compared to the competition. Our interface is based on a strictly overlay design, which means that the channel you watch is always visible in the background and you can also hear the soundtrack even when you're browsing the program guide or the on-demand catalogue. You can choose whether to view the movie catalogue as posters or a list of titles, it's easy to set reminders for your favourite shows and when watching a movie you've rented, you can place bookmarks whenever you feel like it (or someone falls asleep next to you on the couch).
