Basic Starter Pack
With your initial SIM card purchase you will be given ISK 1000 credit (approx. USD $8). You also have the option to use ISK 500 of your included credit to buy a 300 MB data pack for your phone number.
You will also be given a local Icelandic phone number, international roaming capabilities, be able to receive incoming calls for free, and also use your existing phone (if unlocked), as well as top-up online.
Split your credit to get more data
You can use ISK 500 of your included credit to buy a 300 MB data pack for your phone number. If you use your phone to send or receive data regularly this will give you the best value for your money. To split your credit, enter the code from the instructions card included in your Prepaid pack.
The Basic starter pack is widely available around Iceland and can even be purchased on your way to the country.

Go online on your mobile phone
Using Vodafone‘s prepaid plan, when you go online on your mobile phone you pay 90 ISK per day for 15 MB of data. If you exceed those 15 MB in one day, another 90 ISK is withdrawn from your account and you are good for another 15 MB of data transfer.
